The Firecracker 5K
The Firecracker 5k suits every runner or walker! Flat, fast and easy does it for this fun holiday event. The course starts just outside the beautiful Jarvis Creek Park on the grassy slope of the William Hilton Parkway. It then follows a simple loop out and back on a tree lined back road. Runners will then finish right inside the shaded Jarvis Creek Park. Runners will enjoy a well deserved cold drink with friends and family before a fun day in the sun on beautiful Hilton Head Island.
Children’s Fun Run
Parents can pre-register their child for the fun run online or at packet pick-up on July 3rd or July 4th. Registration is $12 per child ($3 late fee after 6/26 ) and includes a bib, t-shirt and finishers prize! We recommend pre-registration to guarantee a t-shirt! This race for kids 8 years and under takes place inside Jarvis Creek Park.
Beginning at 9AM, the race is broken down into three heats:
• Age 3 and under: 25-yards run beginning at 9AM
• Ages 4-5: 50-yards run beginning at 9:05AM
• Ages 8 and under: 100-yards beginning at 9:10AM

The After-Party
Not only do you get a wonderful day of running, but you’re also treated to an after-party featuring music, refreshments, a family Kid’s run, and more!
Packet Pick-up
Bib and shirt pick-up will be held July 3rd from 3- 5PM at a location to be announced. You can also get your bib and shirt race day, July 4th at the Jarvis Creek Park 6:30 -8:00 AM.

The race starts at 8 a.m. at Jarvis Creek Park, 100 Jarvis Park Rd, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926. Please arrive by 7:00 a.m. to ensure you have time to park, check-in, and stretch before the race begins.

Free parking is available in and around Hilton Head Island High School, 70 Wilborn Rd, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926!
